The Last Update

Okay for real this time I hope: The Last Update. There were a few minor things bugging me so here is what all has changed:

  1. BESTIARY
    1. Multiple Attacks: I didn't like how this kept playing out in my combat scenarios. Combat was getting too easy, so I re-tweaked how the multi-attacks work and how they are written in the bestiary. Any attacks that are separated by a slash indicate 2 attacks of the same type (so 2 claw attacks) then PLUS (+) a separate type of attack that happens during the round. So a Bear is 1d4/1d4 claws + 1d6 bite meaning there are 2 claw attacks and 1 bite attack PER ROUND. If you see an "or" it means that the attacks joined by the "or" are "pick one of these two."
    2. Saves: I added a quick line about monster saves. Poison and things can affect them, so all monsters have a d20+1/2 Level vs TN16 save (kind of like you!)
    3. Attack Scores: No more doing math as I have done it for you! I have now listed all the attack scores (AS) for the monsters in the bestiary. (All based on the 11+1/2 level)
    4. Attack Types: I went through and specified each of the attack types whether it be knife, weapon, sword, mace, claws, bites, etc. Each one now has flavor just for you! Except ghosts because...well...they attack with their...miasma? I dunno. Go nuts
  2.  SPELLS
    1. Embarrassing: I had some spelling errors in my spells. I guess when you base all your spells on Ye Olde Anglish it creates problems, and yea, they're fixed now. Nothing else changed
  3. BOOKMARKS
    1. Yes I know I already had bookmarks but I realized some of them were a little sloppy in their consistency on going to the page. They should all be consistent now.

I think that is everything. I guess you could call this "The Bestiary Playtesting Update" but I honestly think this is it. I think anything else I add or change would just be supplements at this point. I debated a "Dungeon Levels" and a "Guaranteed Treasure" update as well but I actually feel like those things are more up to you, the player, than me the writer. If you want to have the goal for a dungeon be the staircase down, I see no reason why you can't.

Go forth, and delve!
