The Editorial Update - Can't Stop Won't Stop

Forgive me players, for I have sinned: I have done another round of updates. But I have an excuse this time! A delightful individual offered to assist me in doing a proper editorial review, where they went through the whole document providing suggestions and changes, so here are the major highlights:

  1. 2 Page Quick Summary! This includes (what I think) are going to be your most referenced rules, tables, and details. I obviously did not include the big tables like Adventure Seeds, but all the little fiddly ones like Advancement, Attribute Score Bonuses, Death and Dying, or the Combat Oracle, or the Reaction roll.
  2. Faction Relationships! For the Region Factions I have cleared up some of the language, and also provided a duplicate of the Dungeon Faction Relationships table so you can figure out how those Rat-men really feel about you.
  3. Camping! I have completely redesigned camping to now be a chance for an Encounter Reset while traveling, or a chance to gain bonus HP or FP while in the wilds (so you can now recover in the wilds rather than having to find an inn). This mimics Resting in the Dungeon
  4. Dungeon Exploration! I revamped the Features table to now include 2 extra options: Special and Encounter. For Special, you now roll on a separate table which may give you treasure, a helpful NPC, a trap, or even a mystery! (ooo!)
  5. Dungeon Encounters! With the "Encounter" option on the Dungeon Features table, there is now a clear distinction between Placed and Wandering encounters, helping you determine how best to roll up that encounter from the Encounter Designer
  6. Treasure! For the Enchantments, I spelled out "Oriented" better. It now means you are immune to being Lost, and always know your facing direction. Much more clear than "Know True Direction."
  7. Magical Clarity! There was a lot of work put into making sure the Magic section was as clear as possible. This involved some clarity-inducing re-writes to the casting and crafting rules, as well as how Sorcery is spelled out. Additionally, Sorcerous components can now rot to be sure to use them up!

Other than that, just a lot of rules clarifications, minor updates and fixes that don't change any rules, and making sure it's pretty (it is.).

Happy Delving!

Incredible, congratulations on all of the fixes, the editor did some great work. Looks like I got to pick up my solo journal again!
